This Tibetan rug is made from 100% wool. The rug is 5.8 feet long and 2.8 feet wide. This Tibetan rug was handmade in Nepal. Softly variegated, hand-knotted New Zealand wool. A gentle scroll motif, rendered in plush, sheared viscose. Created through traditional Tibetan looming, a centuries-old art that entails hand knotting yarns around rods, then hand trimming the loops, row by row, to produce the silky-soft pile.
Scroll motif has slight carving around it, providing more texture. Thick, plush and soft underfoot. Subtle color variation within background color. In silver sage, flax, red or chocolate. Imported. Available sizes: 6' x 9', 8' x 10', 9' x 12' and 10' x 14'. All sizes are approximate. Recommended for use with a rug pad (sold separately).
